Can it get ANY more beautiful than this?

Alaska in all it's glory!

Every once in a while I have to “pinch myself” to remind me of how fortunate I am to do what I do. As tough as it can be working as a photographer, it’s moments like these that I cherish so much. Quite simply, “Mother Earth’s” amazing beauty. I was in Alaska doing a shoot when I stopped to see this amazing site. No matter what anyone says, Alaska is simply BREATHTAKING and absolutely gorgeous. Everyone should visit once in their life. Every breath is another picture. I wish I could share these moments with every friend I have. Please, take care of Mother Earth. Now, back to the photography. Here’s an image I took in Homer Alaska. Homer is located in the Kenai Peninsula, a small town with a population of about 5,000. So beautiul. Snow on the mountains in the summer! A popular local bumper sticker characterizes Homer as “A quaint little drinking village with a fishing problem”. Jewel, the popular singer/songwriter is also from Homer. This photo was taken at midnight. Remember, the sun stays out almost all night in the summer!

Hi Paul, I live in Delta Junction Alaska. I totally agree with you about the beauty of this amazing land. I moved up here in 95 after I retied from the Navy as a photographer. I am a big fan of your work. Carol
