Keb-Mo
I love music as much as I love photography. Any chance I get to work with a great musician, I “jump”. In this case, I was thrilled to work with one of my favorite artists Keb’ Mo’. Keb’Mo‘ is a Grammy winning blues singer, guitarist, and songwriter. His music is amazing, period. I had so many ideas when I pre-planned this shoot. He’s got such an amazing face. I wanted to create some images that were timeless, creative and powerful. He’s the kind of subject that looks good in both color and black and white. So I did both. Why not! I did some portraits with him in the studio, and then found a gritty alley full of graffiti that was “perfect” for the color shot.
